Since 2010, the Ujenzi Charitable Trust has improved the lives of the world’s poor and vulnerable by supporting high-impact research, education, and engineering innovations, in addition to identifying and lifting promising students and health leaders across low-resource settings. Many of the disruptive technologies funded by Ujenzi have been incubated through our engineering lab, Vayu Global Health Innovations, which was also founded by Dr. Thomas Burke.
To create a unified, cohesive brand between our 501(c) (3) nonprofit and the Vayu engineering lab, the Vayu Global Health Foundation was formed. Ujenzi’s work and website have been rebranded to our new name, and rest assured, our team and mission remain the same: to address pressing health challenges confronting vulnerable people.
